Toddler Program ‘Penguins’

Welcome to our Toddler ‘Penguins’ Program! This class is led by Miss Emilee, Miss Holly and Miss Kristen. Our goal in this program is to encourage and support more interactive, group play; help build knowledge of basic concepts such as letters, numbers, colors and shapes; to help promote self help skills such as using utensils, pulling on hats, and similar tasks; to offer a schedule that has a predictable routine for children.

Daily schedule:

7:30am-9:00am Outdoor Play or Classroom Exploration; Arrivals

9:00am-9:30am Morning Circle

9:30am-10:00am Snack

10:00am-11:00am Gross Motor Area or Classroom Exploration

11:00am-12:00pm Activity

12:00pm-12:30pm Lunch

12:30-1:30 Outdoor Learning

1:30pm-3:00pm Nap/Quiet Rest (Nap begins with guided mediation)

3:00pm-3:30pm Snack

3:30pm-4:30pm Activity

4:30pm-6:00pm Outdoor Play or Classroom Exploration; Departures

*Activity time will be teacher-led and applies to a weekly theme. Areas from which curriculum should be approached are: Sensory, Literature/Writing, Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, Arts & Crafts, Fine Motor, Music, Drama.
